I don't do many group rides in KC. I usually head to Lawrence because that's where my team is and do rides with them. How about yourself?

theses are great... but it was so much better seeing it all in person.

I used to just ride for fun, but this is my first year of racing and I love it. I suggest racing at least once if you get the chance. I was intimidated at first, but my coach puts on tons of races every season and makes it easy to get started. Right now the Twilight Crits at the Haskel Indian College in Lawrence are going on, which is like six weeks of crits. They are really short crits though, so it's a good way to get started. Anyway, if you ever do want to race, there are plenty of races to get involved in that are good to start out with.

I actually do a lot of my riding in that area of KC (75th street and Holmes and into Kansas), there are some cool places to ride. Just gotta watch out for the parked Audis ;)

Wow, those pics are fantastic!!!  I've lived in KC for 19 years now, and in that considerable time, I have never been able to take pics like that of the Plaza area.  Course, could have something to do with the fact that I kinda suck as a photographer... but that's okay.  Yours still rock!  -_^
